The Experiment Begins
Unmod began as simply a little fun in the summer holiday of 2005, just to see what using the software Microsoft Frontpage was like. But of course it ended up more than that.

The First Phase
Once Unmod had only about ten pages, it was finally uploaded to the internet sometime between Autumn and Winter 2005. It was at first edited every few weeks, and had a very long web address.

Known as Unmod
The website was soon called Unmod, and was updated all the time. It kept growing and growing.

An Important Page
One of the most important pages in the history of Unmod, is the News page. Even if not the date it was released, the oldest news entry we still have was posted on 9th May 2006, and can still be seen at the bottom of this page.

A Huge Change
Unmod was still growing, but it needed a new look. So around Halloween 2006, my Dad showed me how to use a new piece of website editing software named Macromedia Dreamweaver (now known as Adobe Dreamweaver). After three months, probably one or two of it working on the new look, Unmod was re-released on 28th January 2007 with a new design, tonnes of new pages and much more. You can still see the news entry explaining it all at the bottom of this page.

Valentines Day Banner

Decorated
For the first time, Unmod was decorated. It was celebrating Valentines Day, and now Unmod is still decorated every single time there is a special occasion.

Random Picture Arrives
The first Random Picture was released on 7th March 2007. From this day on there have frequently been new pictures to the right of every page.

First Random Day
The first ever Randomly Themed day happened on 24th April 2007, celebrating Chocolate and Sweets, along with the minor release of the Events page.

Coming Soon
On 1st May 2007, a new page was released, the Coming Soon page, giving clues as to what was coming to Unmod in te future. Plus, this page is still here today, of course.

Membership At Last
After so much work, the Membership feature was finally released on 11th September 2007, and is now a very important part of Unmod.

Terms and Privacy
Yes, a bit boring, but it had to be done sometime. The Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy pages were released on 25th February 2008.

On 8th April 2008, this very History page was created, and you're on it right now.

A Huge Upgrade
On 26th April 2008, Unmod paid for more professional website hosting, bringing plenty of new features.

New Login Feature
At long last, Unmod members could finally sign in to a personal account page, starting 28th October 2008.

Publicity at Last
On 18th November 2008, Unmod celebrated the fact that it was now being publicised on London Informer: Kensington and Chelsea.

Keeping Up To Date
From 14th April 2009, Unmod users were able to access an RSS Feed page, where they could make sure they could keep up to date with the latest Unmod news.
